The March of Lament on Saturday, October 18, was a beautiful, moving, powerful event. It’s hard to call something beautiful when the reason for gathering is so cruel, but it was beautiful to see our community come together across lines of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, language, and other common lines of division.
